Lisa Wissenberg, clarinetist, is a member of numerous Eastern Iowa professional ensembles, including South East Iowa Symphony Orchestra (principal clarinet), Orchestra Iowa (bass clarinet), Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra, Durward Ensemble, and the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band. She is a frequent theater orchestra performer on numerous woodwind instruments and enjoys performing the Nutcracker Ballet each December for the Nolte School of Dance in Iowa City.

Ms. Wissenberg has been a featured soloist with the South East Iowa Symphony, University of Iowa University Band, and the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band. She also enjoys chamber music of any type and has recently been exploring woodwind quintet music as a founding member of Derecho Winds, as well as reading music for enjoyment with friends. She was awarded a fellowship to study chamber music in Paris, France, for the European-American Musical Alliance for a month in the summer of 2012.

Ms. Wissenberg is on faculty at Mount Mercy University, Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids Community Schools, and has a large private clarinet studio.

Ms. Wissenberg has completed doctoral work at the University of Iowa, an MA in clarinet performance from the University of Iowa and a BM in Instrumental Music Education from Coe College.
